Hi, I'm Duc.
Born and raised in Ninh Binh, Vietnam.

In school, I was part of the English gifted program since 7th grade.
I was also an avid gamer — until I quit in 11th grade to focus on university entrance exams.

At 15, I moved out to live on my own.
At 17, I left for Hanoi.
That’s when my journey of self-discovery and exploring the world began.

I studied Corporate Finance at the Banking Academy of Vietnam.
After graduation, I worked at a bank for over four years.
Then I quit everything to study master and study abroad.

I pursued an MBA. And France was my first stop in 2016.
There, I studied a second Master’s degree in Operational and Strategic Marketing at EM Strasbourg.

Besides school, I joined the university swim team.
We trained hard — and in 2017, we won the national student swimming championship in France.

I also worked part-time as a kitchen assistant, restaurant server, and local tour guide.
And for fun (and extra income), I ran an Airbnb from my apartment and others to earn first online business my self.

Later, I joined Decathlon Alabang in the Philippines, helping bring its retail operations back to Vietnam in 2019.
I was part of the core team. It was a defining experience.

At 30, I chose the startup path.
Tougher than a 9-to-5, but far more fulfilling.
I love learning — especially about business, digital marketing, and cross-border eCommerce.

One of my favorite memories?
Backpacking across Europe without a fixed plan — just buses, trains, and curiosity.
Then, a 14,000-km solo road trip across France, Portugal, Spain, Monaco, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and more.

I’m passionate about sports:
Swimming, surfing, jump rope, gym, kickboxing, skateboarding, yoga...

Life, I believe, truly began the day I left the bank.
Since then, I’ve been constantly learning, evolving, and building —
Sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing.
But always moving forward.

Now, I run a business in Cross-border E-commerce.
It’s brought me into contact with amazing partners, colleagues, and friends across the globe.

This blog is a place for me to share.
To record memories.
To pass along knowledge.
To celebrate the little lessons and big changes.
